I joined the Durham Ronald McDonald House Board in 2008, and became the Executive Director in early 2010.
I was SVP of Human Resources and Business Transformation at Nortel where I worked for 25 years. I spent a total of 30 years in business. I have a business degree from ECU and an MBA from Campbell University.
Giving back has always been a central piece of my value set. I retired from Nortel at the end of 2009; as I started planning my departure in 2007, I wanted to join a charity once I retired.
I am married with three grown children who are married, and I have 2 grandchildren.
I am a member of Hope Chapel where I chair the finance committee and sit on the executive committee.
