I joined the RMHC of NC board in 2002, just after moving to the Raleigh area.

The RMH has a special place in my heart. My first job out of college, over twenty years ago, was as a marketing coordinator for a local McDonald’s franchisee. The first day on the job was a visit to the Ronald McDonald House of Greenville. I had taken Ronald McDonald there to visit the children at the house and the hospital. That day the RMH and its mission made such an impression on me, and I’ve been involved ever since.

I have worked on the Michael Jordan Celebrity Golf Classic for three years, raising money for the houses in North Carolina. I have also served on the Greenville, SC RMHC board, and I currently serve on the RMH of Durham and RMHC of NC boards.

My husband, Tommy, and I live in the Triangle with our two daughters, who are all involved in volunteering with the charity.
