Since 1992, I have been a member of the RMHC of NC board of directors. Prior to that, I had the privilege of being on the original team to help locate, build and start the Ronald McDonald Houses in North Carolina, including Durham, Winston-Salem, Greenville and Chapel Hill. I was on the first board at the Durham Ronald McDonald House, and was the McDonald’s Owner/Operator in Chapel Hill working with the city and local hospitals on organizing and establishing the Chapel Hill Ronald McDonald House.

My wife, Linda, and I have been McDonald’s owner/operators for 32 years ranging from operations in North Carolina to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina where we currently own and operate restaurants. We have two children, one of whom is a McDonald’s Owner/Operator, and two grandchildren.

Because of our relationship with McDonald’s across the Carolinas, we support the Ronald McDonald Houses and local RMHC charities in both states.
