McDonald’s restaurants invite the community to “share some happy” and to raise much-needed funds for Ronald McDonald House Charities of North Carolina (RMHC of NC) to benefit local children and families. From November 10-20, McDonald’s restaurants will celebrate “Give A Hand” to bring greater awareness to children's charities everywhere, including the North Carolina Ronald McDonald Houses.
Ways you can help:
- From November 10-20, customers can help by purchasing a $1, $3 or $5 “Give A Hand” paper hands at all participating McDonald’s restaurants across North Carolina.
- With every purchase of a McDonald's Happy Meal® or Mighty Kids Meal® throughout the year, a donation is made to RMHC.
- Consumers can pledge to give family time on Facebook, and for every minute of family time you pledge, McDonald’s will donate to RMHC.
To further support online activation for this campaign, we will execute the following:
- Twitter Hashtag campaign to generate dialogue leading up to, and throughout the campaign window using the#GiveAHand hash tag. Check out our Tweets today - @McD_CLTArea, @McD_TRI_EastNC, @McD_Triad
- Upcoming Tweet Chat with local House Executive Directors, #GiveAHandChat. Between 11.16-11.19, for every tweet, we will donate $1 on your behalf back to the Houses. For more information, please visit our Twitter pages or RMHC of NC Facebook page.
- Localized RMHC of NC Facebook page to leverage McDonald’s and the local RMHC of NC existing fan bases on Facebook. Check us out!
