McHappy Day

McDonald’s restaurants invite the community to “share some happy” and to raise much-needed funds for Ronald McDonald House Charities of North Carolina (RMHC of NC) to benefit local children and families. On November 20, McDonald’s restaurants will celebrate McHappy Day to bring greater awareness to children's charities everywhere, including the North Carolina Ronald McDonald Houses.

Ways you can help

  • Beginning November 3, consumers can download the “Give A Hand” online application to their Facebook page from www.rmhc.org to pledge their support and share virtual Hands with friends and family.
  • From November 10-20, customers can help by purchasing $1 “Give A Hand” paper hands at all participating McDonald’s restaurants across the Carolinas.
  • On November 20, the celebration will culminate with McHappy Day in McDonald’s restaurants when $1 from the sale of select menu items purchased by customers will go directly to local children and families through RMHC of NC.

Become a “virtual” friend and get McHappy

“Random acts of happy” will also take place across the Carolinas with giveaways for lucky customers from November 17-19, 2009. Check out our updates on Facebook (Ronald McDonald House Charities of North Carolina) to see:
