RMH of Charlotte Breaks Ground
Groundbreaking set for Jan. 27 at 10:30 am!
Now that the two houses located on the 1600 block of East Morehead Street are being removed, the Ronald McDonald House (RMH) of Charlotte is closer to becoming a reality.
The official RMH of Charlotte's groundbreaking ceremony will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2010. The ceremony will begin at 10:30 am at the 1600 block of East Morehead Street (the site of the future House).
Dave Wagner, WCNC-TV's evening anchor, will be the master of ceremonies, and Mayor Anthony Foxx will also be in attendance. Those taking part in the official groundbreaking ceremony will be representatives from the RMH of Charlotte, ACN, Wachovia Wells Fargo Foundation, Carolinas HealthCare System, Leon Levine Foundation, Triad Foundation, JF Schultze Construction, Little Associates, the Schabel Family, the Kasey Kahne Foundation, Ray Evernham and Ronald McDonald himself.
