Sharon Fulcher-Tatom, Executive Director - RMH of Winston-Salem

I began serving as the Executive Director of the Ronald McDonald House of Winston-Salem in January 2011.

Over the past 19 years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with children and families in need across Virginia and Texas.  I am a Virginia native and received a B.S. in Psychology from Liberty University.  I hold Master’s degrees in Marriage and Family Counseling and Religious Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas and am a Licensed Professional Counselor.

It is my great love and passion for children that drew me to the House.   My son spent five days in the NICU and it was so important to have the support of friends and community during that time.   We, at the Ronald McDonald House get to do that every day for those we serve.

I am married and have one son, Nathan and a very spoiled Yorkie-Poo, Leroy.
