Ronald McDonald House Charities of North Carolina (RMHC of NC) Lending Heart and Hand Founded in 1992, Ronald McDonald House Charities of North Carolina is a not-for-profit
agency deeply committed to supporting all types of children's charities statewide. Each year, RMHC of NC reaches out to a great number of not-for-profit agencies with 501(c)(3) status in need of
funding, extending far beyond the support of our state's four Ronald McDonald Houses. Ronald McDonald House Charities—A World of Caring RMHC is a global
not-for-profit organization that creates, finds and supports programs that directly improve the health and well being of children and families worldwide. Its goal is to make an immediate, positive impact
benefiting as many children as possible through its global network of Local Chapters in over 47 countries. Who We Are RMHC of NC is based in Raleigh, North Carolina, and is governed by a
board of directors comprised of business, civic leaders, and McDonald's representatives. Funding A community effort, RMHC of NC's funding comes from McDonald's restaurant owner donations,
McDonald's customer donations to in-store canisters and fund-raisers from the corporate and civic communities as well as matching funds from RMHC Global. These funds are separate from the much-needed
donations that individual donors designate for the Ronald McDonald Houses.
